The author, Donna
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
I, A. L. Donna Young, am the mother of two children and have one grandson.
My personal research on the timing of the clamping of the
infant's umbilical cord began in 1998. Access to the Internet began December 1999. Here,
I discovered others questioning also the
timing of the clamping of the infant's umbilical cord. This was followed with correspondence to those
most involved in the duty of care to
protect all persons, equally well by: age, by sex, by color, by race, and regardless of social/economic/or
marital status.
Letters to Colleges of Medicine and Midwifery, political leaders, and various
news medias were sent out. This was in order to appeal
to equality care and "informed" choice to all Pregnant Women and best practice possible and
least endangering treatment to the
'Newborn Child.' Most major news medias, and even Health Magazines would not carry the story or
do research. In my own publication,
The Advertiser/Bargain Hunter & MORE, I have carried about 3 or 4 stories on this medical disgrace. But on May 31, 2002, I was
recently told a person, not in their own business, but governed by a Board, they could not advertise
because of my stories on educating
the public. I said the & MORE means I can tell funny true stories or serious true stories. But I understood, on her board are members who
have medical persons who have attempted to influence financial harm for those who would educate the
public on what is going at every
hospital in Canada, and the States, including in Britain and spreading to other countries.
While we sleep on this issue, and pretend everything is normal to our kids and
forget the millions on drugs just to attend school, and
teachers asking for classes of 7, and the Vancouver Children's Hospital giving labels to 144,000 children
they seen on an annuall basis,
another child is being violated this very minute. But who cares? Well, for one, I do. We
have no babies to spare. The strong must not
pick on the vulnerable and the weak. If we do not do something now, what will be the quality of
life tomorrow and for whom? The rich?
The powerful? The poor and the working classes?
I desire for both pregnant women and the newborn infant to be treated not as
frivolous creatures to be exploited, or to be managed by
time convenience, or to be seen as a business venture, mere commodities, but to be treated with respect. Of course, I am disappointed
in the those of my own sex who have gone along with what appears are not logical care to the mother
or the child. I am trying to
understand it is their lack of education, but when approached by a member of the public, they did not
want to launch their own means of
influence to say they would not serve doctors in the capacity of unthinking females or observe unsafe
practices anymore, they would not
do their bidding or remain silent on false teachings and practices. And above all to seek for
education that was factual and can be
observed by technology today, in videos and films, to be used as proper education tools to medical persons,
whether they are medics or
surgeons.
Note: My baptism name, Donna, means woman. While I attempted to
change my name to the birth certificate names, back in Grade
2, I had 30 some other students say, harmonously, that is not her name, it's Donna. Being at that
school for such a short time the previous
year, having moved 3 times in my first grade, I did not think anyone would remember my name at the start
of Grade 2. So Donna has
stuck, and it means woman. And, I Say, "all" woman have a duty to join forces
and oppose the exploitation of their bodies during
childbirth, the control of their bodies, and the drugs offered rather than the right to warm water baths,
to relax the mother, prevent tearing,
in most instances, and a water tub allows the mother to catch her own baby, if she wants.
The natural mother can then protect her baby from endangering practices of any
medical persons, including some other women, not
really concerned in the long-term care of the child, or who allege to be ignorant about the protection
to the child's lifeline, meaning hands
off it. If any woman were not studied on the protection of the pulsating cord, why are they assisting
in a child's birth, or any other medical
person, for that matter. Normally, a mother knows by instinct not to touch anything still pulsating. If an animal is going to eat a pulsating
cord, it is going to "eat" the whole creature, not stop at still warm pulsating placenta bag. Lets do away with unreasonable myths to justify
any medical person doing a cruel and unusual punishment on the baby, and in many cases, imposing cruel
and unusual punishment on
the mother giving birth, in trust, of no harm done to her or her baby.
Again, let us join forces to stop the hyenas, jackals, and rats from laughing
by taking those most responsible for false teaching and
practice to criminal court. The
FATES
know who they are, and most women know too.
